“The Awakening” combines a variety of techniques from yoga and other movement disciplines, going beyond a single dogmatic approach to get to the heart of what is truly most effective, without being restricted by any particular view of what yoga “should” be. We believe in a modern and pragmatic approach to both philosophy and the physical practice to help people reach their highest potential as teachers and practitioners in order to find more balance in their lives. ▪ Apply correct alignment in order to safely progress the asana practice

▪ The art of sequencing Flow classes, and techniques of great teaching, such as voice, mirror teaching and safe, mindful adjustments

▪ The principles and understanding of precise asana alignment, focusing on the inner and outer form, combined with vinyasa

▪ How to effectively use props in class (blocks, straps, chairs, etc.)

▪ How to market yourself as a teacher to become more successful

 

▪ A professional headshot and asana photo for each student

▪ A detailed, comprehensive manual in English & Chinese with professional photos, updated each year

▪ Top level professional translation and bilingual teachers

▪ Consistent feedback throughout the training from teachers and peers

▪ Personal Transformation through self-observation, setting life goals, and empowering one another with regular partner sharing

 

▪ Introduction to Wall Rope Yoga, AcroYoga & Thai Massage (the training includes two full days of Wall Rope Yoga, with an optional 50 hour certification course after the TTC)

▪ Practical training in anatomy and pre/post natal

▪ Yoga Therapy and restorative/Yin Yoga

▪ Chanting, kirtan, meditation, and intelligent use of music in a class

 

Schedule

培训中课堂时间占180小时

作业&自我练习时间占20小时

周一至周五 8小时,周六 5小时

最后两天半是全天考试和毕业典礼

 

Class time for 180 hrs, homework & self-practicing time for 20 hrs, Mon to Fri 8 hrs, Sat 5 hrs. The last two and a half days are full-day exams and graduations
